Hello MetaMask Community Team,
My name is Raghavendra Yadav, and I am an Engineering Student, Full-Stack Web Developer, and AI/ML Enthusiast based in Kolkata, India. I am writing to propose and request official support for hosting an in-person MetaMask Community Meetup in my city.
We have a vibrant and rapidly growing local Web3 ecosystem in Kolkata, and I am confident that we can successfully gather 100+ active participants for this event.
Here is a quick overview of the proposed event:
• Target Audience: Web3 developers, engineering students, and local crypto enthusiasts.
• Expected Turnout: 100+ attendees (tracked via Luma/Eventbrite registrations).
• Core Agenda: Introducing the community to MetaMask SDK, building with MetaMask Snaps, and best practices for wallet security and self-custody.
• Logistics & Venue: We are currently exploring partnerships with local co-working spaces and university tech hubs to secure a high-quality event area.
Our goal is to onboard fresh talent into the MetaMask builder ecosystem and foster a strong local developer hub. We would highly appreciate your guidance on securing official event approval, operational funding (for venue and refreshments), and MetaMask swag kits for our 100 attendees.
I look forward to hearing from the core community team!
Best regards,
Raghavendra Yadav
