HI everyone

I am Wasim Akaram, and I am based in Jhansi India.

I am a Web3 developer with a strong interest in smart contracts, protocols, and developer education. Alongside building, I have been actively involved in the Web3 community by organizing and hosting technical meetups and workshops. I have conducted hands-on sessions for developers and have worked with Story Protocol, focusing on IP assets and on-chain use cases.

I would love to contribute to the MetaMask Community through developer workshops, educational content, beginner-friendly sessions and community events that help people understand wallets, security, and how to build safely in web3. I also enjoy supporting new developers by guiding them through tools and best practices.

I am currently involved in multiple Web3 and blockchain communities and have hosted events like Road to Devcon, Permabites meetup, etc. which bought together builders and learners for hands-on learning and discussions.

Looking forward to learning, contributing, and growing with the MetaMask community.

Hey everyone :waving_hand:

My name is Matthew Kingsley, and I’m based in South Africa.

I have a strong Web3 background focused on DeFi, wallets, onboarding, and community education. Over time, I’ve worked with multiple Web3 communities in ambassador-style roles, helping users understand DeFi products, non-custodial wallets, on-chain security, and how to confidently use different protocols through clear, practical explanations.

I will love to contribute to the MetaMask community through content creation, education, and community support — especially helping new users onboard safely, understand wallet features, avoid common mistakes, and get more value from the ecosystem. I’m also open to supporting local or online events and discussions where needed.

I have a strong presence on X, tiktok, YouTube, coinmarketcap, medium, and Instagram

Excited to be here and contribute meaningfully

Hey everyone in the MetaMask community! :waving_hand:

My name is AJ (you can find me as @MilesOfMoney23 on X), and I’m based in the United States. I’m super new to all of this—my Web3 background is basically non-existent. I don’t know anything about coding, developing smart contracts, creating cryptocurrencies, content creation in this space, or education around blockchain yet. I’m not involved in any MetaMask-related communities or projects so far either.

What I do have is a ton of energy and activity on X, where I’m starting to build my own communities and grow my presence. I’m here because I’m genuinely excited about Web3 and want to dive in headfirst. My big goals are:

  • Learn the fundamentals step by step (starting with MetaMask itself!)

  • Get support and guidance from this awesome community

  • Eventually create my own token

  • Build something meaningful—my own little (or big!) empire in this space

I’m a total beginner, so please be patient with my questions . I’m here to listen, learn, absorb everything I can, and hopefully contribute back as I grow. If anyone has beginner-friendly resources, tips on getting started safely with MetaMask, or just wants to chat about the basics, I’d love to connect.

Thanks for having me—looking forward to being part of this community and leveling up together! :rocket:

Feel free to drop any advice, links to MetaMask Learn, or just say hi.

Appreciate you all!

AJ

Hello, my name is Chris, and I’m based in Nigeria. I’ve been actively involved in the Web3 space for about three years, mainly focusing on community engagement, content creation, and user education.

Over the years, I’ve worked with different Web3 projects as a contributor and ambassador, helping to onboard new users, simplify blockchain concepts, and create content that makes crypto more accessible to everyday people. I enjoy breaking down technical ideas into clear, practical explanations, especially for beginners navigating wallets, DeFi, and on-chain tools for the first time.

My journey in Web3 has been driven by a strong interest in adoption, self-custody, and user experience. I’m passionate about helping people understand how to safely interact with decentralized tools and take control of their digital assets, which is why MetaMask strongly aligns with what I do in the space.

Hey everyone,

I’m Newton Ayebare, based in Kampala, Uganda.

I’m a Web3 community builder, creative designer, and educator with over 4 years of experience in the blockchain space. I’m currently a Stellar Blockchain Ambassador for East Africa, where I focus on community growth, developer onboarding, and organizing both online and in-person educational events, web3 conferences, meet ups, workshops and hackathons.

I’ve been actively involved in initiatives like BUIDL Africa, along with collaborations across ecosystems such as Filecoin, Canto, and other Web3 communities. My work usually sits at the intersection of education, events, and storytelling. I enjoy breaking down complex Web3 concepts into practical, beginner-friendly sessions that help people confidently use tools like wallets, DeFi apps, and dapps.

I’d love to contribute to the MetaMask ecosystem by hosting local workshops and meetups, creating simple educational content around wallet safety and onboarding, and supporting new users as they enter Web3. I’m already involved in local tech and blockchain meetups in Kampala and work closely with developer and web3 communities across East Africa. I am passionate about making Web3 more accessible for new users and builders. Excited to be here and ready to help grow, contribute and support the MetaMask community in the region!

From Web2 to Web3 Infrastructure: My Journey

My journey into blockchain began with a transition from Electrical Engineering to the decentralized world, fueled by the Solana Allstars community (supported by the Solana Foundation and Step Finance). This “foundational” phase was where I began the basics of Web3 literacy (the baby phase), contributing through graphics via Adobe Illustrator, deep-dive threads, and video content.

Seeking more “authentic contribution,” my intermediate phase involved a rigorous full-stack development pivot with Borderlessdev. This was a pivotal period of growth where I leveled up my technical stack to meet the demands of high-tier protocols.

I then transitioned in the Development Phase as a Regional Explorer for MovementLabs Blockchain. As an OG Mason and Founder of Column the native wallet for Movement. I have been a core contributor since the 2023 testnet. My work now bridges the gap between high-level development, community management, and hosting physical meetups, dev workshop to scale the ecosystem.

I will love to contribute at the most field, i am mostly interested in , is the Education, to transfer that knowledge i have gotten to others for free, it is definetly giving back. Education Could be IRL /online Education Programme

I am involved with Movementlabs Blockchain as a Volunteer and not an active duty, and i believe i delivered my services

I am an Ambassador Role with Cedra Network (Volunteered role) goal is to share and promote an open source Blockchain to african communities before the premainnet

Thank You very much
