Hello, Republic Starry!

Thanks for reaching out and providing such detailed information. I see you’re encountering a black screen issue with the Web3Auth Plug and Play (PnP) SDK for Android (v9.0.4). Let’s make sure we’ve covered a few points:

  1. SDK Initialization & Login Code: Could you share the specific snippets related to how you’ve set up the SDK initialization and login in your app? This will help the team analyze any potential issues.

  2. Browser Console Screenshots: If you encounter any errors or warnings in the console logs when attempting to login, those details could be crucial.

  3. Issue Context: It seems the issue occurs when you return to the app without completing the login process. As a starting point, ensure that the app handles this scenario gracefully by checking the app’s lifecycle and the state management when returning from the browser.

This information will help the support team tackle the issue more efficiently. If you have any more details or updates, feel free to share!

Hey @starryrepublican, thanks for creating the issue. We’ll check and get back to you.

I tried to reproduce but it throws me a valid error “User closed the browser”. Can you please share the recording?

Thanks for your replyI am currently unable to upload a reproduced video. Please submit a few screenshots to see if you can try it out.

This doesn’t look like an issue from the Web3Auth since the login is already completed. Some rendering issue, can you check the debug console and share the error logs?

I tried again, it’s working fine. Please try out latest example here: Embed
